My goal is to treat every project as if it were my own home.

I began swinging a sledgehammer + staging homes in 2007 as part of the family business of real estate investing.

In 2015 I opened Elephant in the Room Home Staging + Design after a life changing car accident, and a 3-year rehab period, placed me at a crossroads in my career.

Combining my background in advertising, real estate and design made sense.

I spent 24 years in corporate advertising. As a result, I’m able to combine my understanding of the psychology and buying habits of consumers with my knowledge of real estate investing to maximize the equity in a property while minimizing the investment to achieve that goal.

In 2017, I worked with The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) to start a chapter in Indianapolis. I served as President of the Indianapolis RESA chapter from 2017 - 2019.

I am a RESA-Pro member and a Certified Staging Professional® (CSP) as well as lead designer and member of the Interior Design Society in High Point, NC.

I currently live on 6 acres, with a wild bunny sanctuary and my yellow lab, Tucker, who I adopted from the local animal shelter. I’m slowly transitioning my 1976 custom ranch home to British Colonial style with a focus on indoor/outdoor living.
